Superbike question (WSBK +AMA)?

It just dawned on me the fact that the WSBK and the AMA boys are at Miller raceway (USA) on the 1st june. Im wondering how the World boys, Baylis + Haga etc. on unknown territory will compare (lap times) to the AMA 2. Spies and Mlladin. the Ducati and the Yamaha should be more than a match for the Suzuki's. BUT it is Ben and Matt on home soil. what do you think ??? can Troy and Nori show why its called WSBK. ???

As we all know, Bayliss is the only man who should not be in WSB. MotoGP Ducati is his home.

Its only because Ducati NEEDED to win the WSB title on the new 1098R that Troy is PlSSING about in that 2 bit championship in the first place.

As for Miller [......... bump ......... pothole ......... never t see a motogp race in 100 years ...........] Raceway is concerned :

In both race's :

1) Ben

2) Mladin

3) Hodgson

Where is Bayliss you ask ? 4th in both.

The Utah County Council Land Fill Dump .......... Sorry, Utah Racetrack thing, is a bad circuit. Very technical, a lot like Cadwell Park, Darley Moor and Even Oliver's Mount.

The local boys ( Hodgson been one now ) have got this track "down pat"

All their crew chiefs are laughing at the moment, because they know what is in store.

If you think this is going to be another Laguna , think again.

As weve seen at 'local' tracks over the years the top 'local' riders are always in with a shout and with the pure pedigree of mladin and spies should be a good mix with the two troys and nori. Ben doesnt have to prove to anybody that he is a fantastic talent but i can see him wanting to beat all around him at Miller to further add to his credentials as regular motogp rider next season.

I think local knowlege of any track is a big advantage, but any world class rider is capable of winning after going round it a couple of dozen times in practice. Never get to see WSB in the UK, have to be content with MotoGP

The lap times won't be comparable because WSBK and AMA will be racing on different configurations of the course.
