Superhero costume help

Question

I need a little bit of help on my superhero costume. I need to know what I should include in it. Accessories, where to find parts of the outfit, maybe even how to make some things if need be. Pretty much anything anybody can give me will help a lot.

I'm looking for bright, colorful and happy things - things with rainbows, butterflies, bubbles, glitter and things like that.

So are you making your own hero or do you want to be a specific one?

If your looking for cute and colorful, go all out and be original! Instead of a cape, try wearing big butterfly or fairy wings. Instead of a typical full-faced or cloth mask, try making a Masquerade mask with lots of paint, glitter, and feathers. Wear a one piece swim-suit or dancer's suit, and paint it with fabric paint and fabric glitter glue! Don't forget the skirt! And of course, you'll need the superhero boots. Buy the cheapest (But coolest) pair of boots you can from a local 2nd hand store. Then paint them with fabric paint in your favorite colors. DON'T forget to put weatherproof sealant on them so the paint doesn't crack. You can also add a tail made from scrap material by making a long tube and close one end. then stuff it with tissue paper and sew the other end to the skirt. MOST OF ALL...HAVE FUN! There are ENDLESS possibilities... so expand your mind from the ideas you get. And remember this when you are making a fun and cute costume....YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH GLITTER!!!!
