  1. Yep, unfortunately the writers strike really messed things up for us last season.  When the strike hit - only 12 episodes of Supernatural had been filmed.  Originally episode 11 was meant to be Jus in Bello and episode 12 was meant to be Mystery Spot but they switched them because they thought Jus in Bello was a more explosive episode to air before the long break.  When the strike finished, only four more episodes were commissioned so they had to abandon the story line involving Mary Winchester and how she knew the y*d and instead they just wrapped up Deans demon deal story.
So, yeah, season 3 only had 16 episodes and we were robbed of six whole episodes!!! Grrrr :(
There were a few pleas made to the Supernatural team to extend season 4 to 28 episodes to make up for the ones lost in season 3 but unfortunately that is not going to happen.  But at least we are going to get a full 22 episode season 4 - yay!!!
Can not wait for 18 September!!! ; )
Edit. Supernatural Crazy - I love your picture! ; )
