Superstar Tina to swing back into form in the Stadium Bookmakers Standard Trophy – Heat 3 at Nottingham
The Stadium Bookmakers Standard Trophy – Heat 3 will get hosted by Nottingham over 500 metres flat. Competing for the £125 prize money are Farloe Lenson, Cavecourt Derry, Salacres William, Superstar Tina, Slick Robert and Romeo Absolute.
The most accomplished entry on the line-up is Superstar Tina, Kinloch Brae’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Emmerdale Megs. She began the new season with a miserable sixth ranking on 5th January at Hove over 475 metres.
The trainer R. Senior, then trained the three-year-old over 420 metres at Peterborough on 26th January.
On 18th February, she scored second in a Grade A1 420 metres flat at Peterborough over 420 metres. The race was won by the 2/1 joint favourite, Boherduff King, who timed the distance in 25.33 seconds and was then joined by Superstar Tina who took
25.53 seconds to reach the other end of the wire.
Her third outing of the season brought her the much awaited victory on 25th February. Superstar Tina won a Grade A1 420 metres flat at Peterborough over 420 metres. The 9/4 favourite winner led the runner up of the race, Nova Jess, by 4 ¼ lengths.
On 10th March she bagged the second success of the season in a Grade A1 420 metres flat at Peterborough by completing the trip in 25.55 seconds. The 11/8 favourite runner up of the race, Devotion Jac, took 25.77 seconds to reach the other end
of the wire.
Settling third behind the winner was Billis Primrose.
A Grade A1 420 metres flat on 24th March was to mark a hat trick for Superstar Tina but unfortunately the 5/4 favourite of the race finished fourth after taking 25.91 seconds.
She then won a Grade A1 420 metres on 30th March at Peterborough by racing across the wire in 25.67 seconds while leading the 5/4 favourite runner up of the race, Ballymac Elite, by a short head’s difference.
Once again instead of keeping the consistency intact, Superstar Tina bumped into the fourth position in the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy – Heat 1 on 9th April at Romford over 400 metres. The race was won by Millwards Tiger.
Keeping in mind the pattern, Superstar Tina will dominate the race tonight.
