Question:

Supplementary Bonding in a Bathroom.?

I've got to produce a sketch for an assignment at college of how bonding would be provided in a bathroom (given on a floor plan of a one bedroomed flat). I know how it would be bonded, the bathroom consists of a metal radiator, and metal bath (sink obviously but that is irrelevant). I know that i would have to cross bond the metal work using a 4mm(?) earth cable (hot and cold pipes) to a local source etc. But i really dont know how to describe this with the aid of a sketch! Its one thing doing it in practice but another in theory!

Thanks greatly for any help in advance!

  1. just do a line drawing on plan of bathroom , if they have asked for a " sketch " .

  2. A simple strait line drawing on graph lined paper and  to help keep the lines strait, make sure you use a template. symbols. Above all make sure you use the initials "N.T.S", which stands for "Not To Scale".
