Hi, I'm taking an herbal supplement called Relora to help with my anxiety and today I started a B-complex Vitimin.

I'd like to know if B-complex is better for anxiety and depression or if B-12 would be please?

Thank you much!

  1. St. John's Wort is supposed to help with depression. It didn't work for me but it may for you. However, you still need to consult with your doctor because many of the supplements on the market can interact with your prescription(s).

  2. I have no idea about supplements. I used to have anxiety attacks, and I took Xanax. It really helps, if you can keep it under control that is. A lot of people get addicted to it. So if you want to stick to the herbal stuff, maybe you'd want to consult a doctor.

  3. I suffered with anxiety and depression for many years until I finally realised that I could control it using my mind.  It was simply a matter of changing my mood and feelings.  It takes a bit of effort but it works. You should also beware of taking pills and over-the-counter vitamins - they could have dangerous effects - especially those herbal in nature.  Their production is not controlled in the same way as pharmaceuticals, not that pharmaceuticals aren't dangerous.  Many of them are.  Perhaps you would be better off spending a lot of time doing research on the internet rather than popping pills.

P.S. I learned to use my mind after reading a book written by two doctors who introduced me to the idea that many illnesses could be cured using mind power.  I don't remember the name of the book but they quoted many successful results of mind power curing illnesses.

  4. I take B12 it helps my anxiety. When your B12 lvls go low it tends to increase anxiety

  5. Vit-Min 100 by (NOW ) brand it has 100% of all the B's in it wonderful multi vitamin. ( it has an orange label) 6 months supply for $27.00. Day time to feel calm L-Theanine very safe. night time I take a few L-Tryptophan for relaxing, sleep, and it has done wonders for my depression in just a weeks time. I have suffered long enough. Look these up and see for yourself. good luck!
