I did a Yahoo groups search for amputee support groups and found a lot of them. Here is one I found that you might be interested in:  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEW-AMPUTE...

You can search for more groups by going to http://groups.yahoo.com/

Type "amputee support groups" in the search field and hit Search.  That will pull up a lot of groups you might be interested in.  When you find one or more, click on the group title and it will take you to the group's home page where you can click on Join This Group.  Then follow the prompts for membership.
