My ex-boyfriend and I just recently came together and discussed getting back together. I havent told my friends or family yet because Im fearful of what they may say. I've told my best friend how great our first conversation went and she just said "yea..." and that was it. I want my friends and family to be happy for me and approve of my decision to consider working things out with him. I just don't know how to do it. Maybe I should just not say anything at all and just keep the conversations with my friends and family about him to a minimum, but then I really feel like I do need their support for this to work. I just don't know what to do. Any thoughts?

  1. Your family and friends cannot live your life for you. You are the one who is in the relationship with the other person. Explain to them how you feel and ask for their love and support.

  2. do what makes you happy. they will come around. unless he beats you or is a liar or a cheater.

they naturally wont be as excited as you are. its not their life. its yours. and you only live once.

  3. You do what makes you happy. If you wanna get back together with him then you do it.I been in the same situation always listening to others or worrying about what they would think or say about me.But i made the decisions to get back with my bf and i never been happier. If your friends don't understand or cant accept it then they aren't really good friends.Even though your family might not support you they will always be there for you.But its up to you in the end=]
