  1. 1/2x - 1

  2. If you choose g(x) as the inverse of f, f(g(x))=x

    y=2x+2

    x=2y+2

    x-2=2y

    (x-2)/2 = y

    f^-(x) = (x-2)/2

    Let g(x) = (x-2)/2

    f(g(x)) = 2 (x-2)/2 +2 = x-2+2 =x

  3. since u have to find g(x)

      so do the following steps

    given  f(x)  = 2x+2

    f(g(x)) = x

    2(g(x)) + 2 =x

    g(x) = (x-2) / 2
