  1. Well in their opininion it wouldn't be higher awareness.

They may be another universe where the organisms have only 4 senses and they would ask the same question.

Othere beings may consider us to have more senses than we consider depending on the categories they put them into. For example, although it sounds hard to comprehend they may consider thought a sense.

    James.

  2. well if we have the technology to create bionic eyes and ears we should be able to create any other "sense organ" not yet achieved. It would be very complicated trying to explain it,but considering we know about the elements and space, what would the other senses be?

btw great question always pondered on this myself at times.

  3. no explanation necessary they would just exploit their superiority.

  4. I like this question too.  It could be a double edged sword because my first thought is if people can see and read our thoughts no one will live together in any kind of peace and may kill each other.

  5. They couldn't.  We wouldn't have the vocabulary to comprehend what were trying to tell us.

It would be the same as trying to describe the colors of a sunset to a race of blind people who had no concept of "colors".

  6. Have you ever tried to tell an insect or bacteria in a petri dish or even mold on a wall about the good news that you exist and are here?  Much less train 12 of them to go about their kind and do the same?  Apparently that is what some more intelligent powers did long ago and here we are... still struggling with the message.

  7. You can know what the cosmic reality is as it relates to your imagination expressed.

The latest Revelation to man tells about our Universe and other Universes as well as other planets in our system.

The Urantia Book offers a clear and concise integration of science, philosophy, and religion. Those who read and study it believe that The Urantia Book has the capacity to make a significant contribution to the religious and philosophical thinking of people worldwide.

P.182 - §5 Satania has a headquarters world called Jerusem, and it is system number twenty-four in the constellation of Norlatiadek. Your constellation, Norlatiadek, consists of one hundred local systems and has a headquarters world called Edentia. Norlatiadek is number seventy in the universe of Nebadon. The local universe of Nebadon consists of one hundred constellations and has a capital known as Salvington. The universe of Nebadon is number eighty-four in the minor sector of Ensa. (scroll to page 182 ) http://www.urantia.org/papers/paper15.ht...

Note: Urantia is an ancient name for Earth. The grand universe number of your world, Urantia, is 5,342,482,337,666. That is the registry number on Uversa and on Paradise, your number in the catalogue of the inhabited worlds.

They are always ready to serve in all exigencies--physical, intellectual, or spiritual--whether on a planet, in a system, in a constellation, or in the universe.

  8. They exist on this planet already.  Insects that see in UV or IR spectra's, mammals that use Sonar, and bIrds that can home into a location thousands of miles away.  In other cases, animals on Earth have senses that are so acute, we don't even have the equivalent -  dogs with a sense of smell thousands of times more acute, snakes that can sense heat at levels that we have no conception of, insects capable of detecting vibrations that we can't possibly feel, and the hummingbirds sense of balance can never be equalled by humans.

All of these animals sense the world in far different perceptions than we can ever experience.  Ces't la vie.

But it's not higher awareness, just different awareness.

  9. The fact that you refer to these beings as people is interesting. It implies that they are of coarse physical for one thing. That of coarse meaning that they would have at their fingertips physical items to interact with as we do. Meaning they would have senses to perceive said objects in a completely 'new' way. That being said, it would not be so hard (although we would never completely understand) to provide explanation for said experiences. They aren't to different. This would be accomplished by using metaphors, or terms that we understand, to give us an idea of what they feel. Such as describing a sunset not to a blind person, but to someone on the phone.

    Interesting! Thanks!

  10. That's like trying to explain colors to a person with complete blindness...impossible. (I like your question)
