Suppose you're a police officer and you've pulled over a car with four occupants?

What do you do in this case?

This is something I'm curious about. My guess is you could call for backup or maybe stand by the back right door in order to have view of all of the occupants.

I'm sure someone knows the answer to this.

  1. Daytime, speeding, no other reason to be suspicious, make your approach while watching the occupants, position yourself in a way you can keep an eye on all occupants while getting info from the driver, or..ask the driver to step to the rear of the vehicle with you.

    Night time, or suspicious, wait for your back up. if driver gets out, have him come back to you.
