why does he need a ride? he just snap his fingers, poof he's there. anyway, sure , i've stopped for lesser folks

Assuming god did exist, sure, He/she would be a person id want on my friends list...But, since God, Is omnipotent, why does he/she need a ride from a mere mortal such as myself? Is he scouting me for god-hood?
