I'd like to be something that endures, that doesn't care about the weather, that goes with the seasons, blossoming and fruiting and shedding and starting over again in the spring.

It would be nice to shelter and feed animals and birds and insects.

After a while, a long while, people could cut me down and make me into furniture. That would be great. Or a fire. I love wood fires.
