  1. whats the question

  2. Temperature. But then again, there are indoor arenas for skating...

  3. 1. The temp. :Unless your going to skate indoors this is key.

    2. Chances of snow: Important to know for the drive to the rink or to bring a broom to keep the lake clear.

3.Time of sun rise/set: you want to be home before the lights go out.

  4. Temperature is the most important factor.  As a young person, I remember many times that I shoveled the snow off the ice to play hockey. As long as the ice is good --- have a good game!

  5. Uhm...

  6. A. Chance of snow has little to do with whether or not we're going to play some pickup hockey on the ponds. Unless there is a blizzard coming (not from DQ) then we will bust out the brooms and shovels to give ourselves a fresh sheet.

    B. Temperature only tells me if I have to check the pond to see if it is melting.  In Maine, we usually don't need to worry about that until April.

    C. Time of sunrise no, but sunset yes.  If we're planning on playing some games after dinner, we have to keep sunlight in mind.  Without it, there is no point in hitting a black rubber puck around... you won't be able to see the thing.

Not really sure what the question was so I put my opinion of all 3 points up.  Hope I can get the 10 points but if not, guess I'll settle for 2 eh?
