Supposed to go to 12th grade but their placing me in 9th ??

i studied in another country the past 5 yrs(an aI'medited school) now i'm back and want to finish my last year of school i went to the international student registration office and was told that i was gonna be in grade 9 for a while until they decide wat grade i belong in and were prob gonna place me by age group but that would place me back a yr im 16 ????can they do that??wat should i do??

they can do pretty much whatever they want.

step one for you might have to be getting in the habit of using somewhat decent grammar/spelling.

honestly....I'm not trying to be mean

-if you don't know the difference between their, there, and they're, or how to spell "what," how are they supposed to think that you're at a 12th grade level?

Look at a few other schools

See if they have an ACE school in your area(google it)

They place you in a grade according to what you have learned && You work at your own pace && level, you can even graduate early if you work ahead. I am in one && I am graduating early!!!
