Would it turn out that America was an atheist nation all along?

All I know is, I would LOVE to see that day. I only recently came out with my atheism by writing a book about it. Here comes the angry mob knocking at my door with holy water and crosses in hand...!

Oh, I am sure the percentage is MUCH higher than it seems to be now. But a majority? Hmmm, no, I do not think that.

The US would be a better place to live and I would guess that the real figure for atheists in the US would be 30 to 55% . This figure would include atheistic religions like Buddhism and agnostics as well .
