If no, what about if the Bard had a krytonite pen?

  1. Never saw Superman use a sword...or any mortal weapon for that matter.

  2. No.....because from a distance, Superman could kill him with his heat vision without the kryptonite being close enough to hurt him.

  3. ofcourse

  4. Is this inane?

  5. Well, I wonder if u ever saw Superman with a sword!

But hey stupid! for that matter, it's not a question of a fight between a pen and a sword...it's just that writing i.e. literature has the power to convey more than a sword could do!

  6. Well, if the battle's theme was 'the pen is mightier than the sword' then both of them would have to use their writing powers.  To what I know of Superman, his alter ego Clark Kent is a journalist. And Shakespeare also is a writer (obviously). So Clark Kent's writing skills would definitely not match Shakespeare's. But, if this was a battle with Superman's powers against Shakespeare's mighty sword-esque pen I think Superman would win. But, with a Kryptonite pen Shakespeare would win, because his power as a writer is mighty.
