Supremacy MMA and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One release dates and pre-order details announced
Supremacy MMA is set to be released on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on the 20th of September, later this year. The announcement was made by the game’s publisher, 505 Games, who went on to explain that the latest iteration of the title
would be more accessible for new users but at the same time would require skill to master the more complicated styles of MMA.
The announcement was made in collaboration with Kung Fu Factory, the company responsible for the game’s development as the pair outlined the now standard pre-order incentives.
The pre-order bonuses which include an extra fighter in the form of, Shane Del Rosario can only be availed if the order is placed through GameStop. The roster includes the likes of Jens Pulver, who is currently the UFC Champion.
According to the Official PlayStation Magazine, who got to play the game for themselves, the game is more brutal as compared to its closest rival which would be the UFC series from Electronic Arts.
Sticking to release dates and pre-order bonuses, Sony revealed the release date for its latest installment in the popular Ratchet & Clank series with a North American release for Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, on the 18th of October.
The game is also a PlayStation 3 exclusive just like its predecessors as Sony looks to have another title to attract gamers to their console.
Each of the four retailers, which include GameStop, Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Amazon, will have a separate exclusive character that gamers can use depending on where they place their order from.
GameStop will offer Mr. Zukron who will entertain players with his ‘comedy-insult logic processor’ and a handy laser to take out enemies is a welcome feature as well.
Wal-Mart on the other hand, will offer a fan favourite weapon from previous titles in the form of the Sheepinator Morph Weapon mod. The name is pretty self explanatory but for those not familiar with the weapon, it basically turns many a foe into sheep,
hence the name, Sheepinator.
Amazon is allowing players an alternative to turn their in-game foes into sheep by offering them the ability to turn them into T-Rex instead, albeit baby ones, with the T-Rex Morph Mod.
Best Buy is offering a flamethrower for gamers to play with and the two options of regular and extra crispy does seem quite enticing.
Sony has not yet announced whether the individual pre-order bonuses will be available for download later on via the PlayStation Store some time after the game’s initial launch.
