Supreme Chalkie cherishing to win Keltruck Trophy
Supreme Chalkie is cherishing to clinch first position in the high-profile contest of The Keltruck Trophy which will be held at Hall Green track on Tuesday night, April 24.
The Open Race over a distance of 480 meters will begin at 21:58 (GMT). For the prize cheque of £175, Supreme Chalkie will face five potential competitors such as Farloe Titan, Borna George, Swan Storm, Aherlow Shaw and Tae Toe.
The S. Buckland-trained black dog has been enjoying great form since the dawn of 2012. The three-year-old veteran hound bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs during March. He went on to finish first by a margin of 2 ¼ lengths in his last outing on April
14.
Since making his debut in August 2010, the dashing dog has been a consistent performer and regular winner. He has added a number of iconic feats to his career chart so far.
After winning three races in a row during August-September 2010, he proceeded to bag a couple of triumphs in the month of October.
The brilliant hound is carrying a lot of winning momentum at the moment. His chances to finish first in the coming contest will be as high as 93 percent provided he manages to maintain his stamina and capitalise on his skills well.
Borna George and Swan Storm are also likely to deliver decent performances in the race.
Borna George registered a fabulous hat-trick in November 2011. The G. Ballentine-trained brindle dog moved ahead to win a big race on December 6. The two-year-old young sprinter grabbed two fantastic triumphs in January 2012 and went on to finish first again
in a race on February 20. He got a runner-up rank in his last outing on April 19.
On the other hand, Swan Storm won two races in a row each on February 25 and March 2, 2012. C. Price’s blue and brindle dog achieved one more victory on March 24. He stepped forward to finish 2nd in a contest on April 4.
In this situation, there is going to be an awe-inspiring clash at Hall Green tonight. Let us see how Supreme Chalkie paves his way towards victory. Good luck to all the contestants.
