Suprise that Dirk and Germany goes to Olympics?

No surprise at all.

If you have viewed Euro Champ before, you should find that Germany is a team with tough mentality. Yes all people know Dirk is the go-to guy (this time they add Kaman) and he is double/triple-teamed quite often, but he is surrounded by role players who know their role extremely well and do every little thing to ease Dirk's burden.

Germany may not be as talented as Spain, but clearly an intimidating darkhorse for Olympic medals.

It is not so much a suprise, but they will as said before double and triple Dirk, so even with Cayman the B teams are tough. I think B teams are America ,Greece and Germany..Its hard to see germany going past that, and Greece did beat America without Kobe or Lebrin I think.

By hearing the name of Germany that qualified to the Olympics, well, no u won't get surprised. If they didn't qualified, you should be wondered.

But with the games I've seen, almost from the latest Fiba Europe Championship to now, they have somehow declined and they haven't lived up to expectations. I think they should have qualified earlier, not by the last game remained. Germans are one of the bests in basketball world, with the superstar Dirk; but with the performance they have shown, maybe you have surprised with this news!
