Sure start maternity (UK)?

Have you recently applied for the sure start maternity grant, if yes, which part of the uk are you from and how long did it take to come through?

Manchester took 4 weeks

Aberdeen (Inverness deals with applicaion thou)  It took a week. x

Birmingham it took 5-6 weeks so apply when your 28 weeks ( I think thats the earliest).  It took two weeks for mine to even show up on their system.  My midwife also said they take ages.

I applied.  I live in Oldham.  It took to weeks for them to say NO.

I am in sheffield south yorkshire. I took me 5 weeks to get it.

im in bradford and mine was cleared around 1 week after applying
