It isn't. It's cheaper to eat than it is to get drunk. Food prices may be on the rise but you can still make a good homemade meal for very little.

If that WAS true; it would be wrong though.

I think your confused on the prices of food, because for the amount it costs to buy a 6 pack of beer or 2 beers at a bar you could eat a decent meal

i agree with you , the binge drinking culture is being made very easy for drinkers in my town you can get cheap drinks a pound a shot or pay less for a double

it is being encouraged

Wrong, you can fetch a perfectly good meal out of a Supermarket dumpster......... you'll never find alcohol there.

I disagree.  You can get drunk for cheap if you buy nasty alcohol.  But you can also eat for cheap if you buy ramen or tuna fish.
