  1. what everyone is trying to say is repost this question with the things we said it depends on

  2. It depends on your size and how fast you have advanced.  A fun shape in the 7'-7' 6" range might work for your next board. You can always use it on small days once you go for a shorter board.

You can get a decent designed inexpensive Tiwan or China made board for around $300-$400 that will work until you decide you are ready for an advanced board.

  3. depends..how tall are you? if ur still a beginner id stay between 6'8" to the high 7's-low 8's depending on your height.

  4. It Really depends on your skills, your height, and your weight. and the type of waves you usually ride.because its really no fun if you have a 5'6 squash on knee high waves.

And since youre kinda just starting out i suggest buying a used board at first. no need to blow hundreds of dollars for something youre going to replace as you progress in the sport

if youre buying a used board make sure to check for dings, delamination, cracks and extreme yellowing which would be a sign of water leaking in make sure to remove those stickers as people just slap stickers on boards to cover up cracks

  5. where do you surf?  are there big waves or are they typically small?  you can get a fun shape, like an egg shape, get 8 foot and down.  they will allow you to pull off some good fun turns and will be much more responsive that the 9 foot board you have used.  at least you have the basics learned

    from the LB.

    peace
