Agent Orange is a surf/punk band. I've only heard a few of their songs. "The Pyramids" are a pretty good old school surf rock group, but it's all instrumental. The Shadows, and The Chantays are some of my other favorites. Monster Magnet has a couple good songs too. Check all of those bands out, a little variety, and you'll find something you like.

i don't listen to traditional surf music.

i listen to classic rock like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, ect and it does the trick.

i am 100% with John F on this todays music isnt as good for the most part, and im 15, but i would still suggest sublime  and definitly slightly stoopid- theyre sick!

I personally get pumped with Tokio Hotel, espescially Ready, set, go! . A good trick is imagining yourself catching waves while your listening to the music. Good Luck!

True surf music doesnt have lyrics, one really good band to that effect is "The Mermen". but if youre just looking for something to get amped, Foo Fighters or if you want something really hardcore for those huge days, try parkway drive.
