  1. keep it, old boards are great to have lying around in case you go towing behind a boat or want to try some air's or shallow reef surfing without ruining your good board. its also a good thing to have around the house if mates come over or someone you know wants their young ones (or oldies) to get started.

  2. you could try and keep it for anytime you may want to use it, or if you would want to try and get it professionally fixed. otherwise, if it takes up space, it would be best to throw it out since there aren't any ways to recycle it.

  3. Right now its particularly difficult to get the foam cores for surfboards....the only ones available that I've seen for some time are from China and fairly expensive.  Some of the local board shapers in Southern California are buying up old boards, stripping off the old glass, and reusing the foam cores.  I happen to work for Goodwill Industries, and we have regular customers who buy used (donated) surfboards from us and either renovate them or strip them down and redo them entirely.   You might be able to sell it to a surf shop or directly to a shaper.  And places like Goodwill really like those as donations!

  4. there are some shops that will buy the board off of you if its in okay condition.
