Surfers, how frequently do you see sharks or dolphins?

not vry often but i have seen dolphins and only sharks from the shore... thank goodness....

surfing in jacksonville, beach  i seen dolphins all the time, and had two friends attacked by sharks, and i've had something very strong hit my board while i was on top standing. but other then that, that was in a 10 year span.

I see dolphins almost every time I surf and all over the globe.  A few weeks back I surfed Huntington Beach and a small group swam right under me.  I very rarely see a shark, never around the Mid-Atlantic region, and usually it's just a fin pop way out in the water.  Sharks don't show themselves unless they are very close.  If you see one it's almost too late if they want a bite.  Also, if you want to see one up close, you can become bait and surf after dark around here.

Not very often along East Florida beaches. More dolphins than sharks. Plenty of jellyfish. Yuck.

Never seen a shark *nock on wood. But every time I head out I see dolphins and sea lions. It's unsetteling when you see them not far at all from you, and seem to be curious.

If u go pretty deep, you can see dophins, and i know one dolphin that will let me pet it, but don't pet the dophin. They could bite! You don't see sharks much, but if you do, stay still. You see dolphins alot more. Good Luck w/Surfin',

Here on the east coast (NC) I see freakin dolphins all the time.  I've seen a couple little sand sharks this year but nothing to be afraid of.

porpoises: occasionally. Sharks: never

dolfins alittle (one almost rode a wave?...nevr seen it haappin) ive seen 2 sharks (far out tho)
