Surfing Attire?

What is the best for surfing? My regular bikini, a swim shirt and swim shorts or pants or skirt, just swim shirt, just Swim Shorts or pants or skirt, one piece swimsuit, or maybe even a swimsuit jacket like this... http://www.solartex.com/servlet/-strse-461/Swimsuit-w-fdsh-zip-jacket-for/Detail

What would be best for going surfing at the beach this summer, for a 13 year old girl? Thanks in advance!

Regular bikini with a rash guard.

The best thing to wear is something that you'll feel comfortable in and something that will give you good sun and water protection.

A rashguard is mandatory. Girls boardshorts are cute. Wear those over your bikini. Please wear sunscreen. :)

Light reflects off the water and gives you more sun exposure than if you were on land.
