Surfing In Washington State?

Anyone know if there are places where you can get surfing lessons (Details please: place, price, etc.)??? Or is it just really crappy surf?

If there is an ocean, there will be a surf shop. Go to a real surf shop, not a bathing suit store that sells some surfboards. The folks there will help you get lessons.As much as I hate these things (computers) I suggest you go on line, I have seen lots of websites from surf shops in the Pacific Northwest. By the way, why are you there? There are thousands of miles of nice coastline in this country.
