Surfing help?please help?

im going to get a surfboard when my dad gets back from overseas in about 3 weeks and 6 days.But i cant wait that long to get a board but i dont have money i only got about 50 bucks.australian money.should i get a cheap soft board now or wait till my dad gets back and my dad is the only 1 who would take me to the beach.

yep mate a soft board to c if u like surfn first then get a propper board when u get good i surf cronulla/sydney shark island and the point dont worry about ur dad man just catch a train or buss just get out there and have a go
