  2. As your asking about surfing the Antarctic not the Arctic which is slightly north of the Antarctic (Arctic=north- Antarctic=south), Anyway, heres a link

  3. Moog nailed it. Arctic = North Pole, like the crazy dudes in the video. Antarctic = South Pole (where penguins live). South pole is actually colder, and I don't know if the glaciers break off like that, to make that form of surfing possible. I doubt it.

  4. Kelly slater's pro surfer for ps2, right? I used to play that. Anyway, it does exist. Check out this link...

The video pro surf put up is of Garrett McNamara and Kealii Mamala, a tow-in surfing team and that footage is from a glacier in Alaska. They did an artical about it in Surfing Magazine. Apparently, some guy's dad used to document this one glacier in Alaska for environmental reasons, and as a kid he noticed that when a piece calved (fell off) that there was a significant wave there. And over 30 years later, this guy who now works at Surfing Mag, remembered this and goes back with some jet ski's and Garrett McNamara and Kealii Mamala. Kealii was the one actually surfing it with McNamara on the ski. Garrett said everyone was really freaked to do it at first, because if another piece calved while they were too close, they would definately die. So after working up their courage, they were satisfied with that one wave.

    Edit*

The link I posted was for surfing in Antartica. Maybe you guys should read a little more carefully. I merely responded to the video pro surf posted, which I states was in ALASKA. I said nothing about north or south pole, and I'm sure you can find the article I mentioned if you doubt it.
