Surfing in Bristol?

Question

Where do the students at Bristol university go to surf?

I was told that its a 20 minute bus ride to a decent surf spot but I can't seem to find this place on maps?

not really many options, its about 2 hours from bristol to swansea, and 2 hours from bristol to north devon: croyde, saunton, woolacombe etc. I dont really know many options around the area, but if youre interested in going to a surfing Uni, try out Plymouth or Swansea.
