Surfing in Guam?

I'm going to be stationed in Guam for 2 years and I've always wanted to learn how to surf. Is there much surfing there? Are there any "surf schools" or whatever? Thanks

Yeah, there is surf on Guam, and the Agana boat basin got some play on "You Tube". It is not the best spot, but if you have to spend two years there, you can make the most of it. I haven't been there since the early '70s, so I can't vouch for any surf schools there, so I'd do all my "learning" on the mainland before you ship out. In my day, 13 months in Vietnam was better than 24 months in Guam. I guess it has improved somewhat, but...... Good luck, and have fun in the surf, you sure won't have it anywhere else there.

Guam has a very solid surfing scene.
