Surfing in Sunset Beach state park, CA?

Is there any good surfing/kiteboarding in Sunset Beach state park, located 16 miles south of Santa Cruz?

depend on the sand bars, I go there once in a while, palm is better most of the time, a couple miles further south, by pajaro dunes. can be sharky though, by river mouth.

yup i have been there toatlly a big hit , extra sharp cuttin waves that are perfect for cuttin some high-class edges ! i love shredding the waves there , also about kite -boardin i seen some people shredding the waves sometimes but i'm not that clear about it sorry , but real fun i give it 5-stars !! give it a hit go out a shredd some waves ! i'm hedin out there to cause i live in CA !
