  1. pipeline and backdoor is the best spot hands down if you are really good, but if ur a beginner try waikiki

  2. Obviously you're traveling there... Surf shops and instructors are all over the place in Hawaii.

Google one located where you intend to travel to. Where you surf will depend on where you want to go and what instructor you choose.

  3. Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy-get instructions from them, they're great! the best place is a place called Lahaina which is in Maui.-beginners to intermediates spot

  4. I dont know im sorry i just wanted to know if i can go to pleasssse not an answer but can i

  5. i was on vacation there once and took surfing lessons around waikiki beach... the north shore has better waves though...but probably for the more advanced surfer...the north shore waves knocked me down, taking my swim suit with them lol..btw im talking about oahu

  6. If you are near Alamona Beach, try Alysha Surf School.  Albert Mahoe is the owner and does a great job of instruction.  His email is mahoe23@yahoo.com.

If you are near Waikiki Beach, there are three surf schools all next to each other right on the beach.  You need to be a little careful with the coral heads in the water where they teach but there are many instructors right there to assist you.

  7. barbers is a pretty good beach for some waves that are not to big but not tiny. barbers is also known as white plains. some places on north shore are probably to big for beginners and also downtown like ala moana would be to big.

  8. Depending on which Island you are going to... there are dozens of instructors on dozens of beaches.  If you are on the big island you can have the ultimate teacher.  An ex world champion named Rory Russel teaches there and he has never faild to get someone standing on their first day.   Check it out.  He works out of Kona.

  9. wakiki is one of the easiest places and there are surf instructers all around. hey the guy who said there's no surf in cali is wong. you have to get off your bum and look for it
