i was out surfing all weekend and i have a week offa work, and i just got in from surfing and the things oin the back of my board are falling off. i noticed that on saturday morning and i super glued them on but they were still really loose. i am a good surfer, so i can usually make a damaged board work, but this board is really really messed up, it won't balance right in the water anymore, what can i do to fix it at home? or do i have to take it to a board shop. i have never had to fix a board before. what now?

  1. What things on the back of your board? The fins, the traction pad, the glass on the tail??? If it's just the traction pad you are talking about, it won't affect the balance. Just buy a new one for $30 or so.

  2. i find it really hard to see how the your description is relevant to your question: "surfing in the OC?" OC being some kind of location... ohhhhh, Orange County?  c**p i thought you were talking about a tv show.

anyway a good surfer should have sufficient knowledge about their board and at least have a tube of some fiberglass resin rather than superglue.

  3. well you can keep doing your little homemade jobs 10 times a mounth or you can take it to surf shop and for 20-50 buck they can fix it.i put that much range on prize because i dont know how bad it is. but any way the choice is your!

    good luck

  4. yeah the "things on the back of your board" has lost me.
