Surfing lessons???

where can i find surfing lessons in texas? I have very little experience surfing and i want to learn at least how to stand on the board.

Send an email to [e-mail].  You will reach Phil "Puddy" Albright, a NSSIA certified instructor located in Corpus Christi, TX.  He gives classes at Port Aransas and also teaches the only for credit surf class in the State of Texas at Texas A&M.

Look in your local phonebook or search Google for your nearest surf shop or a surf camp. Shops can teach you in 1 day for about $150. A camp is more expensive and will take only 2 days usually.

If you don't live near the water, and can't go on a regular basis, it's not worth your time to learn.
