  2. Every media is addictive, so yes if you are in constant touch to it you will get addicted. But, its not addiction which is good or bad, its the usage which can.

  6. True for some people but if you make a point of it to turn the computer off and get on with something else in life then you won't feel addicted to it.  Having the connection to the rest of the world is a good thing but like with many good things we can get abusive with it.

Now  it is you who have to decide.In any case Internet is thousand times more preferable than wine even if,unless kept under control,it may develop into an unquenchable thirst. However,   thist for knowledge is not deemed something bad.If you confine yourself to up and up websites there is no harm  even if  you overdo it for some time.But  as thsy say indigestion   even of nectar-amrut--can kill. But  you can keep it under control with a liittle discipine.
