Surfing on a plane??? need help guys?

goin to va this summer and bring my board back with me.? can you bring a stick on the plane with you? is there any way to bring it without paying too much?? like a 5'10???

Yes you can take boards with you.  The cost varies by airline.  Go to their website and looks under the baggage rules section.  There is usually info about over sized baggage and sporting equipment.  Southwest is the cheapest, 50 bucks a board bag.  Some airlines charge by board, up to 80 bucks apiece...each way!

I looked into taking my board on a trip to Oahu.... it depends on the airline but Delta was going to charge over $100 bucks each way. It was cheaper for me to rent when I got there. Good luck & have fun!
