Windsurfing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... I love it! (Can't really go windsurfing, live in Wisconsin.

I personally think windsurfing gives you more options. The ones that surfing gives you plus sevral others. But it is also more annoying to deal with, because every time you have to rig your sail, there is more material to transport, etc.

I would recommend to choose based on how you feel about that, besides on where you live (do you have wind? waves?).
