Surfing or snowboarding? Why?

Well, I live in Missouri and i would love to do both of them, but since im in the middle of places to surf and snowboard, im not sure. I think most of the reason anyone would like to them is because they have done it or seen it done in real life. Snowboarding is harder.

surfing because u need really good stamina and u cant have fear, but it pays off in 2-3 years for most people,

Snowboarding- you are riding down a slope

I would say surfing's harder..even though i ahven't tried it lol..but snowboarding's not that hard

i haven't tired either...but i'm a skier. so no snowboarind for me, i'd go for surfing. but then again surfing is harder but snowboarind is more accident-prone. it evens out i guess

Which is harder? That depends on the person. With snowboarding the feet don't leave the board, since they are strapped in, with surfing, the feet can leave the board, unless you are strap surfing. I would have to say surfing, since I haven't done it, but I have did a little snowboarding, I love it.

Surfing is WAY harder.  You are on an unstable surface, you have to paddle out, you have to be able to read the ocean and actually catch the wave.  

In snowboarding you are on firm ground and gravity does all the work for you.

they are both kind of similar in the fact that you can't always do them and you are completely dependant on the weather.

ooooo i love snowboarding, i like snow more than water for some reason.  also u can have some hot chocolate after, thats awesome.

i think snowboarding is easier, in my opinion, surfing is more dangerous too, but it depends what kinda wave ur riding.

Well I surf, tried snowboarding but I ski better haha. I would say it depends on the person.

Snowboardin, because the scenery is better and you get better picture opportunities from it.

I have never tried surfing, so i couldnt tell you which one was harder sorry!

Surfing because you have to have more balance going over the waves and everything.  When you are snowboarding, you are just going down hills and maybe over jumps.  It depends which one you like better.

I've done both.  Personally, surfing is easy and so I snowboarding.  If you're looking to see which one is more painful when you fall, then snowboarding hurts like ... well, you get the point.  Surfing allows you to fall on water which, funny enough, hurts too, but not nearly as much as ramming your head onto some mountainside.  

Personally, surfing is easier.

Surfing all the way because I love the beach. Plus its a very  fun way to meet new people and you basically gain a family.

Its awesome. However im sure snowboarding is equally fun I just havent had the pleasure of trying it.
