Surfing or snowboarding more difficult?

I say snowboarding cuz you have to commit! In surfing you just have to go a lot to get good. risk of injury is minimal. However in snowboarding if you don't have balls to step up to rails and big airs then you won't improve. Literally no pain no gain. Thats my opinion what do you think?

  1. You obviously dont know anything about surfing if you think its not dangeous.

People drown. Hit reefs, and rocks. The impact and pressure of water on top of you is unbearable

when a wave breaks, and you are caught in it the only thing you can think of is getting to the surface.. but when theres so much water on top of you, and you are stuck under with the pummeling ocean on top of you you feel like there is no escape

  2. I'd say snowboarding is more danerous and a lot easier to get hurt, surfing just flows so much more, don't get hurt as much-but its a little less forgiving and changing--considering your in the ocean. People say there so similar but i don't think they are so i can't compare their difficulty although i would say i'm definatley a better snowboarder, even though i go surfing way more often, i just don't push myself surfing while i do with snowboarding

  3. i think surfing is more difficult. for snowboarding if you get the hang of it it's pretty cool.

  4. i think surfing cuz its harder to keep your balance in water.

  5. Obviously you've never been pounded by a big wave before.

And when I mean big, I mean, bigger than 8 ft. Can you drown in the snow? Can you hit a razor sharp reef that can be 2 ft under the water? Have you ever had your snow board snapped in half by a wave? Does your mountain move at 15-20 mph? Try it, you'd die out there. Seen it many times, guys talk c**p and literally drown. I just laugh at them. I've saved people who thought surfing was easy. I didn't have to and didn't want to, but since I was the closest one around, I didn't want to look like an A_ _ hole.

  6. I would say surfing because in snowboarding yeah you have to step up to rails and jumps but in surfing you have to step up to bigger waves, smaller surfboards, better tricks and you have to keep you balance on your board. the risk of injury is pretty big, you can falls on your board or even get stuck under water as waves keep crashing down on you. I do both and i think snowboarding is a lot easier. Surfing is a lot better and harder.

  7. surfing, you have to worry about the water motion and if you are on a pipe and you fall, you are really messed up, you can die if you fall on big waves and if they break on you plus you are on a non solid base unlike snow.

  8. i think snowboarding would be harder
