Surfing spots in naples florida?

im going to naples in august and i need some good spots so surf and the name of some places that do surf lessons.

well there is no big waves i lived there eight years there are good skim boarding spots

i went to naples with my friend and it is a great spot to have a good time. but if you want to surf naples probobly isnt a great spot. when we went there the waves wouldnt carry us on boogy boards

Sorry, but you are on the wrong side of Florida to get any real surfing in, unless there is a named storm over the horizon. I know there are thousand of surfers from Florida to Texas, who "surf" in the Gulf, but they will all tell you, they wait patiently for ride-able days. Even if you drive due east until you hit the Atlantic, you are too far south in Florida to have much of a chance at surfing (unless you surf off the jetty at Dodge island in Miami in the cruise ship wakes). The Bahamas s***w up south Florida wave action, and ride-able days are pretty rare in south Florida on the Atlantic coast too. That's not to say that there aren't some great breaks the farther north you get. Naples, no. Sorry
