Surge Protector Question?

I purchased a Monster Cable Power Protect Surge Protector and I have an extension cord with 3 electrical outlets which I have an Xbox 360, Playstation 2, and a Nintendo Wii plugged into it. I was wondering if my 3 consoles would be safe if I hooked the extension cable up to the surge protector?

No. Nothing is safe. Everything that exists faces some risk during it's life-time and no one can predict what the threat that may be.

Your consoles may be protected from surges, but there's a lot more more things you need to worry about. For example, lightning could strike the tree outside your window, and a flaming branch could fall onto your apartment, and set it on fire; thus destroying your 3 consoles.

Your consoles would be as safe as anything else plugged into the surge protector.
