Surge protector connected to another surge protector what will happen ???

I have a $20 surge protector but i just bought a 37 lcd and a ps3 and i saw a Philips - PowerSquid Surge Protector (1080-joule protection) for $30 in bestbuy would that handle or protect both things or what about connecting the powersquid protector over my old surge protector, would that help ? fyi: now im low on money so help me out.

You only really need one good one, but having one plugged into another one will give you a bit more protection and it will not hurt anything.
