Surgery! HELP NEEDED!

My dad is having surgery and i need to take care of him after . I don't know what to do. He is getting a hernia removed so PLEASE HELP!!!

that is good that you want to do your best.  So you can research hernia operation on the net first and also see helping to recover from heria operation.  He may need you to help him to the B.R. and get him his food and medication when he is in pain.  Just be there for him as he was for you when you were little.

These are articles on Hernias by Web MD.  Also, when they release him from the hospital they will give him a list of instructions to take home with him.  Make sure you read them and go over them with the nurse at the hospital.  They will explain it all to you all you have to do is ask, that is what they are there for.
