Surgery and piercings?

ok i had surgery about 6 or 7 months ago they took my gall bladder out but they cut my belly button to do so.......would it be safe to get my belly button pierced??

I would go to a tattoo parlor and ask them. It depends on the scarring and whether or not a piercer would feel comfortable piercing you, i would think.

I've been told, piercing through scar tissue it bad...

Not sure why. But you should ask a Doctor or skin professional.
