Parvin Saroye was the only other batsman from Maple leaves to get into double figures. Saroye played a cameo of 35 runs that mostly comprised of singles and doubles. The batsman struck only one boundary from 28 deliveries that he faced.

Maple leaves lost their first wicket at the end of fielding restrictions in sixth over. Sandher was the one who had to take the long walk

Saroye came in to bat at number three position. The batsman did not waste any time in getting his eyes in and looked busy from the start. He kept on giving the strike back to Wadia, who was in supreme form.
Wadia and Saroye added 87 runs for the second wicket at an impressive run rate of 9 runs per over. Saroye found his way back to the dressing room when the Drepaul trapped him in front of the stumps. The batsman resistance came to an end in 16th
over.
Canada lost couple of quick wickets afterwards and even worse was the loss of Wadia, whose innings came to end as the batsman had to retire after injury prevented him from taking any further part in the game.
Maple leaves set a target of 139 for Suriname. Canada will be looking to maintain their cent percent record in this tournament while their opponents will be hoping to put an end to their winning streak of four matches.
