Where does the name Culberhouse come from? Not to be confused with Culverhouse though.

  1. Sorry, I cannot find your surname meaning.  

    It might have changed by the census takers in the past.  Years and years ago the census takers would have to spell it like the people would pronounce it.  Your people might not have known how to write and the census takers would have to do it for them.  

    Your Culberhouse might have been Culverhouse way back when.  They might have not spoken English.  So the census taker did their best with what they had.
