Surprise 50th party ideas?

My dad is turning 50 next month and I was wondering if anyone had any good party ideas.

He doesn't drink, he doesn't really have any hobbies.

He doesn't like golfing he like fishing but I really wouldn't call it a hobby of his.

some sort of theme party. Is he into fishing? baseball? nascar? choose a theme and go all out. You could also try an imaginary vacation theme, with food and decorations from places he has or would like to go on vacation someday.

Dig up his high school yearbooks for Junior and Senior year.  See what the class's favorite song was those years.  Look thru the books to see if your Dad was in any clubs or organizations, and use that as the party theme.

old school of course.  old school music.  disco ball. old school food. (candy)  just old school stuff. and if you like old school 70's clothing.

my dad turned 50 last summer in late august, we threw a huge suprise pig roast bb-q thing it was so much fun. we invited all our family and friends. it was great.
