I'm surprising my fiance with a wedding ring for our wedding (he's expecting for us to go pick up very plain bands, i want him to have something more personal) The ring i've found is BEAUTIFUL, and affordable and Titanium... but i dunno how to get his ring size without telling him WHY i need his ring size.

Suggestions?

  1. Just esitmate it. You can take it back and exchange for the right size if it doesn't fit. It's not a big deal at all. Get a 10 or so...that's average and then if it doesn't fit you two can both go in and get him sized to make sure you get the right size. Usually with titanium and tungsten they will exchange b/c they can't be sized.

  2. well, if he has a class ring, you could always take that for a day when he wouldn't notice.

  3. If you buy it from a physical store (instead of online) just make sure you can exchange for the right size if you don't find a ring of his that you know fits him on his ring finger.  If you want to have it engraved inside, do it after you present it to him in case you have to exchange the first ring.  Titanium CAN be resized but it's much better to get it right the first time.

  4. Titanium can't be sized, get his class ring or just ask him, u are getting married. Or take him with u to try the bands and tell him its yall looking at different options, and then u will know what size he wears

  5. I do not think that Titanium can be sized, but however it scratched easily and can never have the same finish. I would look in to tungsten, it looks a lot  like Titanium and can cost around the same ( Tungsten is a little more, but more durable) as for the sizing take him to a jewelry sore to look at you plane bands they will size for him, (you will need sizing either way)
